the old property had a dusty charm, but not charming enough to overlook the allergy-inducing dust mites. it’s New Orleans and breakfast was a sad afterthought with barely any options. expected a welcome gift or upgrade since I’m clearly deserving, but instead received mediocrity. i almost gave a good review, but just couldn’t!

Loved the cozy balcony in our room and the charming architecture! It felt like home after a long day exploring. One word, character.

the location is beautiful with access to historic architecture everywhere. the bathroom was cramped.

The location was perfect, surrounded by lovely trees and easy walks to great restaurants. My kids loved exploring the quirky shops, and we especially enjoyed relaxing with early evening drinks in the cozy courtyard after our daytime adventures.

Staying here was a real treat, especially with the cozy balcony and delicious breakfast options that made every morning special. The only thing is the AC unit could be a bit noisy at night, but overall, it’s such a charming spot to relax! 🌼

Our stay in the Balcony Room was delightful! With two young kids, we felt at home in the cozy setting. The owner was incredibly welcoming, even giving us a ride when we were in a bind. Plus, the breakfast treats were a hit with the whole family!

Charming accommodation, comfortable room, friendly owners, with a convenient bus stop right out front making it easy to explore the area and a delightful breakfast setup that allows you to grab what you want and enjoy it in the comfort of your room.

The ambiance of this lovely home is enchanting, with beautiful architecture and a peaceful neighborhood. We particularly enjoyed the continental breakfast options, which were perfect for fuelling our explorations around the beautiful landscapes of New Orleans. Raynell's hospitality truly stood out, always accommodating and friendly.

However, the aging AC unit in our room was quite noisy, making it a bit challenging to keep it on at night during warmer spells.

During our three-night stay, the charming balcony room offered a cozy retreat. We appreciated the warm hospitality from Mr Velez, whose kindness was a memorable highlight. Do try the homemade baked goods at breakfast, but keep your dining expectations modest given the city's culinary reputation!
